Commercial Offset Printing
At The Ink Well we offer various commercial printing services. If you have a simple carbonless form you need reproduced, a complex process color piece or something in between, let The Ink Well give you a quote.
Single Spot Color
Single spot color printing involves only one ink color. You job may have variations or screen tints of that one color in any percentage. Most of the time this will be black ink and greyscale, as in a photo. It can also be any ink color. At The Ink Well we use the Pantone solid color system to specify and match ink colors.
Multiple Spot Colors
This type of printing would be any job using more than one single ink color. Again, The Ink Well uses the Pantone solid color system to specify and match ink colors. Black is considered a color when discussing a spot color job. Please be careful when creating spot color files for our use. Files or graphics may appear to only contain one or two colors but in reality are full color graphics. These files may have to be printed in process color or have some prepress work done to them.
Process Color
Process color printing is what everyone considers full color printing. Process printing uses four ink colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) to reproduce a full gamut of colors. This allows for full use of color in your designs and printing. Different coatings and varnishes can also be applied to give a unique look.
Most process color projects need to be somewhat large quantities to be cost effective. If you are looking for full color but only need small quantities check out our Digital offerings. We also have a full range of bindery capabilities such as cutting, folding, tabbing, booklet making, scoring and die-cutting among others. Let The Ink Well quote your future printing needs.
